Never has the word REMEMBER been more important in my earthly journey than today:

"WE WILL REMEMBER THEM"

Today is Anzac day- [you can learn more about it through Dr Google]. Ant and I set off to attend the Bundanoon Anzac day dawn service. We were joined by family friends visiting from the states- The Dunlops.

As long as this body draws breath I will remember them. By them I mean my ancestors who survived or died in WW1 and WW2 and the wars that followed. I love them for their courage, love and sacrifice, for me and my countrymen.

Below is a small montage of DOUGLAS HAROLD ARNOLD, my grandfather [mum's dad]. He served in PNG fighting the Japanese and was MIA for 9 months. There are no longer men living in the 9th Division of the AIF Medical Corp, were he served. Douglas, or Pimpa as I affectionatly knick named him, died in 1972, all too young and my grnadmother lived the remainder of her days honouring him and ensuring that he is remembered and his sacrifice is not forgotten. I have always attended the dawn service- it is tradition.

Enjoy
